Belladonna is the singing group of the Shire of Adamastor.
We meet every Monday night from 6:30pm to 7:30pm at the home of Lady Jehanne de Huguenin (third from right in above photo). We have been singing for seven years now - and have managed to actually build up a repertoire of songs we can actually SING!

We sing any music we can lay our hands on that falls within the period of interest of the Society for Creative Anachronism. Most of the music we sing is from the renaissance, because there seems to be more of that around. We do have some earlier pieces to sing, too. Most of the pieces we perform a capella. We have on occasion sung to a lute accompaniment, which is wonderful.

Our membership is fairly fluid. We have a core group of about 8 people. We are always desperate for male voices although we have 2 or 3 men who attend regularly. We are hoping to attract new singers this year, and to try to branch out into being a more versatile group - perhaps performing pieces with fewer voices, or with solo or instrumental parts included.

For more information on who we are, or what we do, contact any of the officers listed on the Shire of Adamastor page.
